...I'd got the beers in and chilling, seat positioned, BT Sports channel on, and thereby ready to see Barca give PSG a right tanking, with our Luis (he's still ours,I don't care who he's signed or plays for) dishing out a masterclass in tenacity, energy, never-ending running, and getting in amongst the goals, with Messi being his usual mesmeric, and Neymar Jnr. showing his skill. Goodnight, yet again, PSG.
And what did we get? Total domination from start to finish, with De Maria, a light year away from his ManU days stealing the show. Barca overwhelmed like never before.
And who did they remind me of? Well, us really, for the whole of January. They were us personified for the whole 90+ minutes.
Maybe there's a bug going around. If there is, they got it big time.
Maybe that's why we were so poor in January. It's February now, thank the Lord.
