He was pretty woeful at the weekend, and has been pretty poor bar the second half against arsenal. Kante's performances have even been highlighted recently due to the amount of work he's had to do...some would say two peoples jobs

Matic had a good game against Arsenal but hasn't offered enough in pretty much every other game recently.

The thing with Matic is not that he is a bad player, but that he isn't a very inspiring player. He is useful, and overall has had a good season. But I can't help but think that he is the weak link in the team.

Alonso gets a lot of flack, because he isn't the most inspiring fullback. He is pretty awkward on the ball, and can struggle in one v one situations. However, for me he makes up for it in hard work. He is always offering a run, and is usually organised in his positioning.

Don't even think I have been compared to other users...So don't really know what mons is on about.

Bro whether as I'd agree he's not a bad player, he does things that negatively effect us imo. He seems slower getting about the pitch to when he first came back, and his lackadaisical approach when having the ball affects us badly imo.

Except the Arsenal game Matic has been poor most this season - hes turned into a slightly more consistent Oscar offering maybe a good game at a ratio of 1 in 6. And yes his biggest flaw seems to be the Mikel pass, whats worse is its not even a good Mikel pass, Mikel at least managed to give it to people in space, Matic passes to players in trouble then gives them no out.

Keep him for this season and look for an upgrade in that position next season. All left foot and moves the ball and himself too slowly IMO.
