Highly regarded young Belgian midfielder at Anderlect who all the big clubs around Europe are supposedly keeping a very close eye on. Only 19 yrs old and has 16 goals already this season from midfield which is very impressive.
He scored two absolute worldies yesterday too. Incredible strikes with both feet too.
Take a look:
Goal 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0HZ77__mPU
Goal 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDhjk3iiBAs
Ridiculous strikes those two. Second one is my fav. Looks a real talent.
How do Belgium keeping doing it? Such a small country and so many talented players.
Youri Tielemans

Stupid to compare Odegaard to Tielemans. Odegaard was bought directly after his breakthrough season which is rarely a good idea.
Tielemans has been playing first team football for Anderlecht since he was 16/17. This includes CL appearences as well.

People have been raving on about this kid for years. I'm amazed none of the big clubs have signed him yet. I saw him play a couple of years ago, and you could tell then he has unbelievable potential.

Good for him to develop in his home country and get game time out of the spotlight tbh.
I doubt he'd be doing what he is if a PL team signed him 18/24 months ago.
Looks class anyway.

Maybe teams have become more cautious about teenagers in poor league since the Odegaard fiasco.

You can't judge people like that. You can only judge players on a player by player basis.
It's like saying there's no point buying the next big thing in Holland because Depay flopped. Some players will always flop. Some will flourish.

Coming from the guy that doesn't want us to sign South American players because of our record of signing South American players.
Pricless!

That has feck all to do with their ability though. It's more of a culture thing. We've got rid of almost every one we've signed and they've all flopped massively.
Also look at the continent that is providing China with most of its new toys.

Still don't get what your point is. Signing s Americans compared to belgians for example does present more of a risk. A lot more.
And who wants to see us play with half a team of argies or Brazilians anyway? Not me.

I'm pointing out your contradiction.

Both goals are absolute stunners!
