So Theo got his 100th goal for Arsenal last night, in very different surroundings to Wembley, where he got his first.
Seen quite a few people scoffing at the achievement, with comments suggesting he should have scored a lot more.
So his 100 goals have come in 370 games.
To put that in some context let us compare that to some other players:

20 goals in 180 appearances over 6 seasons

52 goals in 231 appearances (29 in 142 for United, 15 in 53 for Arsenal)
Best British player around, Gareth Bale (12 seasons)
126 goals in 388 career appearances.
We also have to remember the many injury ravaged seasons Walcott has suffered. This season is the 4th time he has hit double figures, yet he has only reached 40 appearances 3 times.
Of course it should also be remembered that Walcott joined Arsenal as a 16 year old. If you get past the hype, it is fair that it would take Walcott a few years to mature. And guess what, as soon as Walcott gets into his 20s agewise he also starts hitting double figures consistently. 60 goals in 4 seasons that he has stayed relatively injury free since he turned 20.
While he may not be your favourite player, it should be appreciated that 100 goals for Arsenal is a good achievement.

Decent finisher with a very average all round game. Still has a football IQ that's in double digits.

I said I wanted him at LFC a couple of years ago and it wasn't well recieved but I stand by it. He is what he is.

Walcott is honestly the most inept Arsenal player on the ball during my lifetime of watching the club. At least among squad regulars (which excludes jokers like Sanogo). Doesn't matter how many goals he scores - a player who can't seem to handle the basics of dribbling, hold-up and link-up play, passing etc is a hindrance to the team. He's not a player I'll ever be a fan of.

He's scored a lot of goals against Chelsea and Spurs, I can also remember him making a difference against Barca in 2010 in the 1st leg and he also ripped Man U apart last season in our 3-0 win. No idea what you've been smoking!
