You're The Manager

Your team is mid table.

You have average players on high pay contracts for the next 1-2 seasons. Shifting them will be tough.

You have several good footballers in your team.

Your fan base wants more and is tired of disappointment.

You have lots of fast people with limited control and play making ability on the wings.

You have a decent defence if you keep your shape but very porous when you try and play an expansive game.

You have an aging striker who can hold the ball up but isn't very mobile coming back next season.

You have a slow central midfield.

You have an academy.

You have one or two assets.

You have a long shot at the playoffs.

What would you do?

PS

Moaning about the past can't change owt, but if it makes you feel better go ahead.

Quote Scouse
If they are promising Spart, they should have a go in the first team.

Our U23s play in a league consisting mainly of Premier league clubs so their promising youngsters have even less chance of a first team place than ours.

.....and?

Well if you are too thick to extrapolate that Premier league clubs would have to loan out more promising youngsters from their academies then there is no hope for you. To think some pharmaceutical company was prepared to shell out serious money from your services. They must have a similar recruitment policy to Derby.

Spart, you should go for a coffee with Strett, I'm sure you'll get on like a house on fire.

..........I was referring to OUR youngsters getting a first team chance you thicko.

So you don't understand that "their" refers to other teams in the same way that you use "our" to refer to Derby. It's really tough this uses of English stuff.

Don't stop lads, this is really enjoyable!

As Vidal well know's the definition of insanity is to repeat the same set of actions, while expecting a different outcome; see where this is going???

Schetve needs to buy himself a decent toupee and shave off that blinking stupid tuft on the top of his bonce. Oh and keep taking the money, but he doesn't need to be told that anyway does he?

By the way, I have you lot down as a home win. I have just been working out/discussing our run in.

NLN takes 4 points of Rams, so that's four for him and one for you? hmmmmm

I can see you were in the top stream in Maths.

Before you start pishing yourself over our troubles have you had a look at the league table lately? Burton are catching you and if I were you I'd be looking on your map where Rochdale is.

"I can see you were in the top stream in Maths."

I can see why it would seem like that to you vc10.

RFB is bound to be jumpy, he's contemplating a relegation 'six-pointer' (his words not mine) at the weekend against Wigan.

Bucko & Bogle will shut him up, VC
