Ryan Sidebottom retired from cricket today. His dad Arnie played for us in the 70s,only one season, but I think he helped us get promoted from division 2 under the Doc. He wasn't much copying, but had a decent cricket career after. It was the retirement in the Guardian that brought Arnie back to mind. I never thought he would make it, he had the wrong surname, you need to be called Law, Best or Giggs to do well, proper football names.

Arnie was crap, but his lad Ryan was pretty good,at cricket that is.
Cheers for the 5stars guy, ,apparently Arnie was voted one of the top 50 worst signings, so he made a top of list. Evra, Vidic, Zlatan proper football names.
I mean how can you shout "give it to Sidebottom".
