I like davies and trippier, get a bit facked off when they get a bolokin because they aint as good as the 2 best full backs in the league. Usually they are made to look poor by the whole team under performing
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you thought that maybe the team under performs due to them playing?

Pretty much an integral part of our playing style are those positions
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yeah I agree but sometimes this isn't the case. There was one champo game where tripper was right back and poch stuck alli right wing, out of position, and he was left exposed as fack. also the rest of the defence was all over the place, I think Dier at CB is equally to blame in these instances.

After this game Trippier was then lauded by some including yourself as a 'shaaat' player. I've said all along he's very good against exposed, weaker opposition where we are going to be in the ascendancy for the majority of proceedings. His crosses and attacking positioning is very good and the Fulham game suited him.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Trippier & Davies are average players that when played brings the team down.

When they play we have to change our playing style which is completely wrong.

This needs to be addressed in the summer and before you say it's not knee jerk I called last summer for them to go

Trippier usually contributes well against the weak teams he mainly plays against, I wouldn't mind him staying as back up. Of course if he plays against big teams in the absence of Walker that's a problem but that's a similar conundrum for most teams and their better players

Davies however not only plays poor against good teams but he doesn't suit the system against weaker teams either, meaning we always need a fast winger on his side as he can't attack to a good standard. I'd try to find a replacement if we can

If Rose is going to be out for a sustained period, I think it is essential we start giving Nkoudou minutes so he can play a part supporting Davies

If we had a bit more time to experiment I would not have minded seeing him or Sissoko given a run on the left in the 343. We are defensively sound (usually) and I feel we could get away with having an unorthodox player on one side

I think we miss having a squad player in the mould of Lennon for situations like this, when we are reliant on Davies (and to a lesser extent Trippier). Someone to give the side a bit of width and balance.

Until we have four players who can attack and defend aggresively from fullback, we always will need that.

At present we have a single forward - Son - who is both up to speed team-wise, and has the right ability. He is not exactly perfect for it either

This right here highlights the ineptitude of the summer. £42m or so shelled out on a player who underwhelmed at Newcastle and someone else who looks like a fan who won a competition allowing him to train with the squad yet somehow latched onto the squad unnoticed

Lamela would do well on the left of a 352. Works hard enough to track back and has the creativity to deliver a good cross and pass.

The graft is there, but I never feel Lamela is aggressive enough taking players on, and he does not really have that burst of pace
