Achieve. The belt never hurt anyone
I think that in my first to 4th years I probably got the belt one or twice a day.
Once in 1st year me and a mate (Kenny Patterson) had a competition to see how many of the belt we could get in one period.
It was with Mr sing in geography who was rubbish at it.
It came to an abrupt end when he sent us next door to Mr mcginnly who could actually hurt you with it.
To make matters worse he took the rugby which both of us played.
We got moved up to train with the 4th years.
Who were told to give us a lesson.
Still hurts after nearly 40 years

Simon I think you can relax and that will never happen.

I take it that also applies to neighbours, bus drivers, shop workers etc?


The shoe is on the other foot these days.

I’m in and out of scores of schools regularly.

It’s teachers who are assaulted on a daily basis by out of control &

poorly parented young people.

Who are also a million times more likely to assault your daughter than

any teacher.

Jakie, alky, and thug parents / carers assault teachers & damage

property eg cars on a daily basis.
