Brewers Predictor (34): Blackburn

I am a football pessimist. I can't help that. That is what I am. However, I have started to think that we can survive this season.

I hoped for 4 points from the 3 games in 6 days so long as the win was against Blackburn. It was a lot to ask but we have 4 points already. We simply must turn up for this one.

I think the new Blackburn managerial appointment was a boost for our season (with respect to Mr Mowbray).

Anyway, the bonus points alongside the usual score predictor are:

- Predict the attendance. Nearest wins and gets 2 points.

- Predict the first Brewers goalscorer. Guess correctly and get 2 points. (Predict no goalscorer and if that materialises you get 2 points).

- Predict 4 goals or more with your score and if that materialises you get 2 points (regardless of whether you predict the score correctly).

I am a little bemused by your attendance predictions and fear that you may know something that I don't. I will put the oven on for later and a serving of humble pie for me if needed.

Surely they won't bring that many. About 800, if that. Our home support is a core 3,000 - 3,500. I imagine some will have blown their budget going to Derby. For that reason I will go for 4,240.

I will go for a draw and take advantage of my points bonanza and go for 2-2.

Christensen to score first.
