disappointing, but far from a disgrace...the club has been sliding down the table, and claudio had shown no real signs of being able to turn it around, so with 13 games left in the PL, and £100m + at stake, hardly surprising that they have panicked a bit and pulled the trigger.

may work for them, may not, but i can understand that, and not sure why neutrals are aiming so much vitriol at the leicester board...we've seen madrid sack a manager after a CL win, and southampton sack the manager who got them promoted to the PL, if claudio had been fired last summer we could all go wild, but he's had 30 odd games this season and it;s been very rough stuff.

Ranieri pulled off a minor miracle with Leicester.

I don't think I will see another manager in my lifetime who could elevate an average bunch of players to Premier League glory. In fact it's pretty much a unique achievements anywhere in the world.

To sack him is simply staggering and an unbelievably ungrateful attitude shown by the clubs owners.

Shame on them.

Want us to obliterate them now and for them to go down to the conference, the man worked wonders and conducted himself like a class act at all times in English football

Anyone else get a bad feeling that Leicester will play the game of their season on Monday night now?

Would you compare you sacking ranieri to Real Madrid sacking managers after winning the league? Of course not so why do you try compare your team to Chelsea. You're not on the same level as us, so you can't compare the situations.

Ranieri targeted 40 points in his first season but got 81. He gets sacked while club are 17th. Pearson had Leicester way adripft bottom of the league for a lot of the season but stayed to turn it around. Makes no sense to me why they sacked Ranieri, especially after a CL game.

Unless the owners are trying to copy Chelsea and sack the manager to win the CL with another manager.

They sacked the manager because they were scared they were going to get relegated. Sacking the manager that had them finish 1st is amazing as that is the pinnacle when Leicester City target was 17th or better. He had them in 17th when he was sacked.
