What a bloody disgrace! Irrespective of how badly they are doing, Leicester should've given him until the end of the season before parting ways- he deserves that.

Using Robb logic, Klopp and Pochettino should be sacked next for their poor records.

Louis van Gaal lasted longer at United than Ranieri did at Leicester.

Now THAT is a facking travesty <laugh!>

by the by i always found it slightly curious that clubs in 17th, fearing they would slip to 18th, were so quick to pull the trigger; whereas clubs in 5th, hoping to get into 4th, almost never did.

Where was this outrage when Jose was sacked? We're falling for Ranieri's "cute old man" persona, and reality is he fekked it all up somehow. It's a damn shame it had to happen, but I didn't see any sign that he was going to right the ship. Leicester need a cold-blooded killer to come in, kick some behinds around, and win some matches. I reckon some players like Vardy got their heads so swollen up, they forgot to listen to the boss. Look how well that worked for him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How can you compare Mourinho to Ranieri? Mourinho winning the league is expected. Ranieri winning the league is arguably one of the greatest achievement in the history of sport never mind football.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair point Scholay, but both sackings were pretty brutal, in our case it worked out great for us, but Jose got about zero sympathy and deserved a bit more, don't you think? In the end, it was our gain. I don't see Ranieri landing a top job anytime soon, miracle achievement or not. I think players like Vardy and Mahrez got their egos so large, they stopped listening to Claudio, which is his fault because he lost their respect. Couldn't see Jose letting players walk all over him like I reckon Vardy and company did this season. Sad day for football.

I actually disagree.
He was being paid to do a job, and the key part of that job was ensuring that Leicester maintained their Premier League status.
The form table suggests the chances of his having done that were small.
Just because he massively overachieved one year shouldn't give him license to fail the next; especially when there's £100m at stake.

Probably done him a favour, now people will feel sorry for him, "he would have kept them up" etc and he suddenly becomes some kind of a martyr.
