My opinion is they had no choice, it's not like I'm reacting to a few recent poor performances, I queried Ranieri and his tactics months back and said something was wrong at the Club.

He got the plaudits and recognition for winning last season and has to take the blame when it goes so wrong, this isn't down to not signing a couple of Players in the Summer etc, it's down to him and his decisions.

Just as when our last Great Manger left in 2015, I fully support and accept the Owners in their decision.

What were the board supposed to do? He'd completely lost the players and his training methods and tactics were getting increasingly bizarre

I love the guy to bits he delivered something amazing, but he really guided something extraordinary that had been built by others before him. This season he's been ripping it apart. He's fallen out with staff and players, he's helped create a split in the club and there is a lot more to this than a couple of players not happy about their contracts

What about him reportedly squaring up to one of the backroom staff over petty issues? What about him changing tactics 30 mins before the Copenhagen game from what had been rehearsed all week? Players gesturing to the bench because they don't understand his instructions

His team selections were getting worse, his tinkering wasn't working and most Italian media will tell you that this starts happening in his second and third seasons. He gets sacked everywhere he goes, usually pretty quickly

It's a reallly sad state of affairs but the guy hasn't helped himself

It is a sign of the modern game that player power now is a massive influence and after listening/watching/discussing this last night and this morning its something that a large number of fans, ex players, people in the know are not comfortable with and it has been branded " disloyal" and "disgusting".
So while I agree with some points where CR had fallen below our level of acceptable performance this season just remember that the players bear a massive amount of responsibility for where we are this season, just like they are due all the adulation from last season.
It has been apparent that the hunger, desire etc. was missing and as mentioned last night our " group of journeymen footballers" had climbed Everest last season so the drive to achieve the ultimate was quenched.
In the modern game if you lose the players then there is only one outcome and that is not something that I am comfortable with at all.
Maybe I am old school but I have a bitter after taste in my mouth today.

Backroom staff getting the Ache because surprise surprise after one season and Walsh leaving he wants his own people not Nigels. Although you cant compare the two the same names come up from easing Sven out Mr Stowell etc.
As for Senior players read over the hill players worried about their Career ask Peter Taylor about Walsh and co back then.

Really and you do. Its obvious to all but those who don't want to see. Last season you could not get into the technical area for support staff this season. Shakespeare's got out of his chair about three times.
This my opinion you have yours about Mancini if he comes based on what.

Seems like reports are saying players like kasper, vardy, morgan et al were behind his dismissal. Know one knows the truth but going by pkayer performance it would be hard to see any other way other than those players ultimately letting the club and manager down.
