Sweet smell of successs

So rapidly following the duplicitous letter of total support the owners have shown their true colours by sacking Ranieri – the man who brought world wide acclaim to the club, city and the King Power brand.

The beautiful story of the small club who defied logic, the odds and accumulated power of the “big" clubs by actually winning the English Premier League –recognised as the most difficult of all. This story captivated the world and even supporters of other English clubs shared in this fabulous achievement.

Ranieri was in no shortage of supporters within the club at that time –all scrambling to grab a piece of the limelight as cameras and TV crews descended – the touchline coach area often filled to overflowing as members of staff vied for close up shots from assorted TV crews. Been a lonely place in recent weeks Has it not Claudio ?

Et tu Brute ? taken from a renowned Shakespeare plot as the Roman had the knife plunged into his back . I quoted this some time ago in a post as stories of his demise emerged

So no more façade please King Power owners – the idea of the family club driven by loyalty and benevolent ownership – you are now firmly in the ranks of the power hungry owners – the Ashleys –the Abramovich’s the Glaziers –eyes fixed on the riches associated with TV money.

Firings are often accompanied by the smell of cordite – this one carries the stench of raw unadulterated sewage which will permeate around the club for a long time. Because the same global fans who shared in our success and loved the fairy story are now disgusted at the current events and accompanying plotting and subterfuge involved.

To those inside the club who participated in the undermining of Ranieri and will soon appear no doubt on press conferences etc –clutching the badge and appearing whiter than white – it does not matter how much you wash your hands – DNA testing of disloyalty, opportunism and lack of ethics will soon emerge.

To Claudio Ranieri – the lifelong ,heartfelt thanks from real Leicester City fans for making dreams come true and giving us a lifetime of magnificent memories and a saga that will live for generations. Not only with our success on the pitch but also showing us dignity and humour at all times and restoring credibility and some honour to a club who had suffered dreadful press and publicity in recent times.

I am sorry the owners and others could not match your conduct.

God speed and good luck in whatever you now do.

I could meet up with you and I've no issue telling you to your face that I think you post made up facts on here.

No such thing on here as facts unless its from a second source and they could making it up. You push and push and push and then wonder why you get a angry responce. you have a block on how many people but you feel you can say anything to me and i just to have except .

"I will say it again say it to my face and see what happens". 'm 57 and have never physically attacked anyone ever and no matter what you will say i won't start now.
But my best guess you prefer to hide behind a computer but the offer still stands. It might be good for you to meet real people and have a real debate as i said i'm buying and that is a promise not a threat.

In terms of being abused, I've just been called a name on here (insulted if you like) by a Birmingham fan. I'm not offering to meet him up and threatening him to say that to my face

Its not a threat of anything other an opportunity to receive a verbal responce face to face.We are both LCFC fans we might find we have something in common.

It doesn't sound like a friendly meet up Nev

But look, the one thing about me is I'm very honest. As honest in person as I am on here, ok more polite in person but that's the nature of online forums- it's reactionary and you tend to post things that you wouldn't say purely because you can't read people's body language. We all do it.

I dont mind meeting up, maybe it will help

Yeah of course, its it in the middle lane of the M1 southbound just past junction 20 in about an hour. See you there. Remember, you have to stand in the middle lane - that's where the action is

Not sure whose favourite to go down now, LCFC, Nev or BS!!!

I more likely to kiss BS than fight with him maybe that will be more worrying for you mate.

That's not very nice, I might get hurt. I will use my zoom lens if it's all the same with you.

Just remembered -I referred to a Shakespeare plot and a play made concerning a Roman assassination
But he was also an actor of sorts. Not very good so he stuck to day job.

By the way just watched the press conference.
