How is it our fault?!

The amount of boiled pisss being thrown in the direction of Leicester fans since last night has been astonishing to see

Fans now willing us to be relegated as if we actually made the decision ourselves. There is a huge amount of respect for Ranieri and a lot of Leicester fans are upset. They don't deserve the brunt of everyone's anger on here it's facking ridiculous

I personally felt he had to go but it's a horrible decision. They've shot bambi and I get why the footballing world is upset but equally, he has turned a team that should be mid to lower table into, right now, the worst team in the entire football league

What are the owners supposed to do when the players aren't happy, the staff aren't happy, we are shipping goals in left right and centre and not able to score. Are they just supposed to accept relegation because our history isn't one of success??

Someone said to me that if we finished 17th last season he would still be in a job. Rubbish. No owner is going to keep faith with a manager who can't win a game in 2 months. Vardy hasn't had a shot on target since December in the league. We set up to get thrashed every week and we are. Even 10 man Millwall ran rings round us

Stop with the whole faux rage and just accept that maybe, just maybe, things were ALOT worse off the pitch than many people realise

Yep i know Darren. It's ridiculous. They're not looking at it with a bit of perspective.

And a lot of Leicesters ex players.. How many of them had the same attitude when Pearson was sacked and Ranieri was appointed.

We'll just have to wait and see how things pan out. Cpuld prove to be the correct decision.

I feel for Ranieri, though.

These guys have such short memories.

Ranieri's sacking is symptomatic of what football has become over the last decade.

People need to realise that the owners had absolutely no choice, they simply look at what he achieved and think it's unacceptable but you only need to open your eyes a little bit to see it had to happen.

I'll openly admit that I was blind to it, I didn't want to believe it and I've argued with BS over it but he was right and unfortunately I was wrong. As much as I hate to admit it not because I'm bothered about being wrong but because of its implications. Things were a lot worse than I wanted to believe.

He had lost certain players in the dressing room, not all but he'd definitely lost some very influential figures and that's what cost him. Also dismantling the back room staff, most importantly our sports science department, which actually now explains why we've had more injuries this season than in the previous three or four. These things just cannot happen, it's vital that the components Pearson put in place remain in place. He tried to change too much away from Pearson's model and it ruined everything. Even petty things are annoying the players, stupid things like making them eat pasta before a game and taking chicken burgers off the menu.

There were too many things behind the scenes that nobody knows about so before people comment they should really get a little insight first rather than just reacting.

A horrible decision, yes. However it has been made and I, for one, salute the owners for having the courage to have the bigger picture in mind. We know that the club is always bigger than any individual within it, the club will be here long after all of us have moved on. I look forward to the rest of the year and on to next year, regardless of where we play.
