As a Leicester fan who backed Claudio I thought the gesture by Mourinho was unexpected but was great to see.

The selfish player piece is follocks. Kante is top 4 class and was spot on to move to Chelsea and he's set to get twice as many premier league wins than Liverpool. Mahrez wasn't selfish and stayed, so did the rest.
Leicester were wrong to sack him Jose is right to defend him but selfish players?? Nah

Let's not reinvent Mourinho as some magnanimous pillar of integrity. It's clearly a not so subtle dig at his Chelsea squad last season

Whatever Joses motivation, fair play for his opinion. Winning the title with Leicester is very, very different to doing if with Chelsea or Utd etc.. when access to millions upon millions are afloat. It was a once in a lifetime achievement, I will be amazed if any club outside the top 6 manage to get anywhere near it...nevermind a club only just avoiding relegation the year previously. It's not an achievement to be taken lightly, it's up there with the very best in footy.

Perhaps Jose might have been appreciating this?
