I'm not a fan of rugby to be honest but one thing I will say for it is the difference between rugby and football at kids level is huge.

I ran my boys football team for years and as the kids get older their parents become worse and worse with their behaviour towards the refs and opposition players.

I nearly had a fight with one of my players dads as I was fed up of him reducing his boy to tears every fecking week.i pulled him on it and told him I didn't want him coming anymore and was he happy making his boy missable and embarrassing him in front of his mates every week ?.

A compromise was reached when I let him come as long as he kept his gob shut and just let his boy play.
The next week we won 6-1 and his boy scored 4 and had a big smile on his face.
His boy gave me a hug at the end of the game and said thanks for what you did and his old man thanked me and said he'd been too harsh on his boy.

You don't get any of that chit in rugby.

Nah in rugby, they just kick straight out for a throw in. Awful game

It's an International break, what do you expect? Wait until the proper rugby returns.

Thought the wales-england game at the rugby world cup 2015 was as entertaining as any football game I've seen. And generally six nations encounters between rivals are great to watch. However I don't have any interest in club rugby. And the one rugby match I saw live featured too many stoppages. But fantastic when a team is on the attack for a try.

Good sport but like every other sport, lacks a certain magic that football has.

Rugby is an excellent sport and there are many skillful players who were on the books for top football teams.

There's no fighting after games and opposition fans can stand together with a beer in the stands, rather than be separated like children. I love football but it could learn a lot from rugby.
