Hello cricket fans!
Personally I'm more of a football fan, and I tend not to watch cricket much unless England are playing. As with most non-cricket watchers, the shorter form of the game is my preferred format, although I do like the background noise of a test match on a sunny Summer weekend.
This Summer, while the football season is on its break and football fans everywhere are becoming utterly embroiled in transfer rumour, I decided I would follow a cricket team. Durham is my team of choice, thanks to the four years I spent living in the city. I understand from the results I've heard so far that they're not doing too badly!
The point of this article (yes, I am getting to it) is that I need someone with worldly cricket knowledge, to guide me through the maze of confusing cricket competitions, batting and bowling points, and different formats of the game. Is there anyone out there that can help me understand what's going on?!

Here's a start which explains the points system in the County Championship which is the 1st class competition, the one played over two innings like test matches.
Obviously goto "points system" then read other parts to learn more about the County Championship.

The only problem I'm having is when I'm doing a "copy and paste" for a link, this isn't coming up, you are having to type it all in!
Am I doing somthing wrong or is it not possible on JA606 to do a link?

It's working ok for me. What browser are you using? That could have something to do with it.
