Sounds like Koeman would like it to happen, would he fit the short term plan the club has? Sponsorship / club exposure would increase and it wouldn't weaken the squad that's for sure. If he can have a Barry style impact then I would welcome it.
Rooney. Could it really happen?

Assuming he's willing to halve his wages which I'm sure he would to go back to his club then its a no brainer for you. Improves your squad and gives you a huge commercial lift.
He's actually got most assists at utd this seasonso far with 10. I bet Barkley hasn't got 5.

Two different players, but you are right, he wouldn't weaken the squad.

Everton should pay £89m to sign Rooney back because they’d make it back in shirt sales and sponsorship so it would be worth it.

5 each in the league

Yeah but Rooney has 10 in all comps and has been a bit part player.
I think Rooney would go up a few levels again at Everton. He's done it all at Utd and lost a bit of drive.
I reckon he'd love to play off Lukaku. Barkley alongside Schneiderlin perhaps.
He's only 31. He's not past it. He's just gone a bit stale at one club in my opinion. Wouldn't shock me if he had a very good season with you one bit.
Must admit though it will be horrible seeing him line up against us.

But the only comparison that is constant - 38 games is the league. So 5 each and that with Rooney being in a much better team

Muffles, instead of talking about the big game between us and Spurs, perhaps you should concentrate more on the kicking you are going to get both on and off the field from Chelsea.
