Laugh,I just died in your arms, tonight

As Capt Sensible mused during the early days of his short lived solo career...'Glad it's all over'.

The reasoning of playing the B Team against Leicester in the FA Cup,with the real prize on 3 easy home games and two very winnable away games has evaporated like a mini guff in tbe Albert Hall.

I realistically expected 10 - 12 points from this set of games. We got two.

So, it's yet another season of capitulation snubbing out the embers of hope.

Of course I remain loyal, but also confused and disappointed in equal measures.

How teams like Huddersfield and Brighton can perform at such a higher level on considerably less resources than us baffles me.

Hey ho...

You could always see Ince had talent though Vydra even if his choices of what he did with it were often questionable.

From the bits I have seen of Vydra (bits being the appropriate word) he has hardly touched the ball and made Bent look positively industrious by comparison. He will have his chance to shine tomorrow no doubt. Whether he does is another matter.

Barnsley are a counter attacking side so our defence without Keogh is going to be put under occasional pressure. De Sart better be careful with his long passes or we will concede a hat full.

Just hope he plays Vydra with Nuge & not Bent

I agree Ang. If he doesn't he should be sacked.

I'd still drive Ince to anywhere he likes and leave him there.

I'm not sure without consulting with the other ex-PoTY's but I think this is the first time in 606 history, BBC or JA, that a manager of the club has had to convene a Press Conference to formally reject the opinion of the current PoTY

I'm starting to question View's decision to have PwC assist in the whole vote to be fair.

When you were PoTY, 666 (I appreciate this is going back quite a while), rarely a week went by when the manager didn't publicly denounce your fatheaded opinions, usually regarding himself and his captain.

I was right then, and I'm right now. History is written by the winners, and neither Clough nor Keogh will be recalled fondly.

'No such thing as tactics'

Dearie me, Ang: you should always, ALWAYS, have a re-think if you find your opinion accords with Spart's. #schoolboyerror

There's the stench of corruption about this latest announcement by McClaren, but I'm happy to play the long-game.
Let's just see which one of us is still in office at the end of the year, shall we ?
