Genuine question. This is not a wum.
Obviously, I don't watch Liverpool week in, week out therefore want to get the opinion of the fans who watch them all the time and take their view on what's happened since the end of December and why their form has been so poor? What's changed since the first half of the season when you were playing incredible football? I don't get it. In mid November you were just one point behind Chelsea.
I hear some fans saying it's just a blip (which maybe it is) but my version of a blip is losing a couple and drawing one or two in succession then returning to winning ways but this hasn't happened with 2 wins in 12 games.
For once I am trying to initiate a sensible discussion.

Klopp got his excuse in early. It's not having a mid season break, that will be his mantra come the end of the season.

problem is three fold
1. injuries to several key players at once (along with AFCON) and players lost rhythm and form all at the same time.
2. Dearth of quality depth. the above injuries showed up the backup players are either not ready to step up or just not good enough.
3. Klopp has been a bit too persistent with his tacitcs. he has tried to cover poor players by using players in worng positions. I understand his reasoning for not buying in January and why we haven't covered all the problem positions yet. just surprised he is persisting with tactics that have been rumbled vs defensive teams

All im hearing is excuses. If we dont finish top 4 its been a poor season thats all.
