Impressive or awesome performance or event you've ever witnessed? Doesn't have to have been in person, but in your lifetime...
For me it has to be either Bolts win in the 2008 100m Olympic Final. I get that he's ran faster since, but my memory of it was he jogged the last 15-20 metres and still broke the old world record.
Hey it could be worse, my ex boss still maintains purely for the size of the gap between him and Lewis, Ben Johnson's run in 88 is as impressive as he's ever witnessed
My other one is more for guts than anything......Nigel Benn against Gerald McClellan. I've seen it a couple of times since on YouTube and I maintain it's still (sad ending aside) the best fight I've ever witnessed.
As much as I wanted Benn to win, in hindsight I wished the Ref had stopped it in round 1 (as he could have). That fight ended Benn as a force anyway, so a McClellan win in round 1 would have in hindsight been the best result for all. And believe me I do say that as a Benn Fan.
Outside football...What's the most.......

Goran at SW11 - i was a wreck at the end of that final
France victory over the All Blacks back in the late 90s/ early 00s - I think it was a semi final. It was almost perfect rugby.
Bolt is always a good shout, as was Johnson running his 200m record - awesome stuff.
And by the way, any clown that includes anything carried out on a golf course should have their accounts closed.

Agreed, Ivanisevic winning the Battersea Open was unforgettable

How many times did you have to pump her up?

Never understood why the 05 ashes generated so much celebration - it's a 2 horse race, held regularly, and roughly a 50:50 going by records.

Cricket is a marginal sport.
Too much licence fee is spent covering it imo
No one really gives a shiiit anbout it

We hadn't actually won it since 87, hence the MBE's. I get your point though.

Is cricket a sport, really???
One bowling and one batting, the rest just standing round scratching their knackers
