M City Vs Liverpool

Now, as a fan i CAN look forward past the Burnley game,the players wont be allowed to but i certainly can; and i intend to because i have watched City several times including today.

To me its clear how City play, they try and release Sane on their left in behind the opposition fullback,Silva drops into space and tends to benefit from YaYa's drives in mf. Of course Kun is always around to sniff something and punish teams.

City also no matter who the opposition are play, play from the back, even if it means some mistakes will be made, the will play from GK to fullback to CBs and try and play into mf.

City for us are probably an ideal team to play, we press, they play at the back, they leave space in mf and at the back, we have the players that can exploit any space in mf or defence. We do need Hendo though for this game, and Firmino; hopefully both will be fit.

This game will be a cracker and if we have our first team out playing i see no reason why we shouldn't be confident, even more so if we beat Burnley. Firmino, Coutinho, Mane and Lallana will get the space that makes them so devastating. If Clyne can keep Sane quiet then we negate a lot of city's intent, of course they still have quality all over but its the quick release of Sane that City seem to rely on recently.
