Now that the usual suspects are seeking attention, Halfy brings you a live logical debate on our survival chances, no need to thank me, it's what I do ....!
I told y'all back in early Jan we was fooked, gb (and others) stated I was wrong and with the Benefit of hindsight it turns out ............never mind !
The only thing I want to bring to the table is......why are we so w@nk........seriously, to be this bad takes real effort
Our strikers have a 1 / 40 between them WTF......just think about that for a minute

Don't know what the gate was yesterday but I'll bet that not one Wolves supporter in that ground agreed with him that Saville was the best option at LB.

I do think the choice of full backs was crucial to the poor performance yesterday. I don't have a problem dropping Saiss back into the defensive line, but the point of having three defenders is to transform two positions from full backs to wing backs, and Coady and Saville were just so unsuited to that role. Iorfa and Doherty would have been much better choices, maybe Marshall. It was nauseating he number of times yesterday that the centre backs played the ball forward to Saville on the half way line and he just turned and passed it back to them.

New poster so please go easy on me.
Been a Wolves fan for more years than I care to remember and followed the team home and away for most of that time.
I thought Lambert was the best of a bad bunch when he was appointed. Not an exciting prospect but a safe pair of hands. However (much like most of the team), he has done well in parts (Stoke, Liverpool, Barnsley), but has been too inconsistent.
Like others have said, he doesn't know his best team or formation and doesn't seem to trust some of his players.
I'd like to think Wolves are too good to be relegated, but I thought that when there was a gap of 7 points between us and the relegation places. That has now eroded to just one point and although we have a couple of games in hand, we are simply not winning so those games in hand can be somewhat discounted.
All in all, a sad season that started with so much optimism.

Agree, I thought Doc was our player of the season elect.....others thought it was Dave, but I know I'm right

Thanks Halfman. I've seen the match threads before I registered. They seem interesting if a bit confrontational at times.

Maybe, but if you spend so long in the mad house, it becomes normal
