The latest finger pointing this time at Swing Low theme really takes the biscuit. Accusing everyone who sings it of being R-ist. When will people see its these people that go out of their way looking for R that are the real perpetrators .
And if its not R word its the wimmin movement having a go
I wish my fellow men would grow a pair and say enough is enough!

Bunch of hairy gorillas gathered together holding gold nectar huddling together singing "swiiiiing low, sweet charrrrrrrriot" while some scratching their nether lands and others looking disdainly at the weaker _s.. e-x who are gathered in the corner ready to make more pies and fries for the over drunk men....Yes I can see why it could be that some women feel intimidated and considering most of the gathered hairy bunch are of certain color, I can also see why the r-ist word could be used.
That song has some colonial undertones too, imo.

I think 'Swing Low' is just a religious hymn that was adopted by slave workers in the States, but it is primarily a religious song.
A bit like "When the Saints Go Marching In" or "The Battle Hymn of the Republic", the Glory, glory, hallelujah! song adopted by United and Spurs.
So nothing to see here imo.

Always amuses me how people get offended on behalf of black people over trivial nonsense rather than dealing with things like institutionalised racism.
That is far more sinister and far more dangerous than a song or a twit calling people names on the street.
