It's official

http://mobile.dcfc.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/derby-county-appoint-gary-rowett-as-manager-3624101.aspx

Obviously we all knew anyway, but now it's officially official, Gary Rowett is the next man to be sacked by Mel Morris for not conforming to the "Derby Way" (still not sure what that is).

He, I predict, will also be the next manager to suffer the ire of 666 for selecting Richard Keogh as Captain and undroppable centre back. Hashtag in the offing.

Good luck Gary, let's stamp your mark on the club by wiping the floor with that lot up the road this weekend.

Apparently he lives in Derby.

So utopia has finally been achieved. Local owner, local manager.

Let's hope Rowett has an international scouting network.

I see Wigan have sacked their manager; they're looking for their third boss this season! What a bunch of mugs.

I hope they get Warburton

Will be watching how he does with interest. More pressure here than there was at Birmingham.

We can only wish him well, keep up the great crowds and support the players. COYR

Not really more pressure as Derby are an established second tier pub league club who have found their true level so, no ambition equals no pressure.

Could you remind us all how many times you have won the league? And how many times you have been in the European cups please?

I think the answer will be a big zero hoof ball merchant.

When we won the league, penicillin hadn't been invented!
But never mind that. Can you tell us how many points you got last time you tried to play with the big boys?
As you're from Derby, you should be able to count them with the fingers of both hands.

And with your twelfth finger you can count the number of games you won.
