The last ten minutes were nail biting but credit to our defence for being resolute in the face of some high balls lumped into our box.
At times like that I am so glad we have Andy Butler.
Beyond that though I thought that once again we were very good and look like a team that is top of the league.
Coppinger treated us to three "wow, just look at that" moments in the second half when his outstanding skill turned their defenders inside out.
The man in a technical genius.
Mason, once again a superb performance.
May and Marquis worked their socks off and took a battering from the Notts defenders and I am so pleased for Andy Williams who finally got on the scoresheet again.
Sixteen points clear of fourth now with nine games to go.

Did you think Hound, just for split second he'd missed. Thought it was just me but, just seen a video of the breakaway and there's a point where everybody went silent. Then it hits the inside of the net. 👍

We had some guests from the USA with us and, after a scrappy first half, we wondered what impression they would take home with them. Need not have worried - the second half had everything but the kitchen sink. County were extremely hard, but couldn't bully Rovers out of the points.

Zigger, from my seat about two thirds up and to the left of the goal, i wasn't sure that AW's shot was going in until it actually hit the net.
He was brave enough though to take it first time and you could tell that the other players were really chuffed for him that it went in.
Someone posted on vsc that they thought it was Williams who headed the ball away to MacSheff at the start of the breakaway.
Does anyone know if that is true?

Yes , looks like it from the goal highlights

Ha, a classic striker then.
Got a sniff of a goal and ran as fast as the wind to get onto the end of it.
It was a bit like the Copps tap in at Brentford with all the opposition players at the other end as we broke away.

The full highlights do illustrate that it was not an easy win. Nolan, their manager obviously limited his research into why their 2nd "goal" was disallowed, presumably failing to note that one of their players was obstructing any movement from Lawlor who (perhaps did not realise that the ref had disallowed it, because his protest got him a card.) How did Nolan miss this? Did he not ask himself why Lawlor was complaining? The enquiring journalists were obviously only too willing to share the general ignorance.

Of course Nolan himself was a leading exponent of penalty area manoeuvres and perhaps never fully understood what was and what was not permitted.

Really good game last night.
26 outstanding for the 75mins on the pitch.
Great finish by him he had an easier chance prior to scoring but chose to pass?
You could talk about all the rest having good games.
But again would like to single out mason who was class..
How they ended up with 11 men on the pitch I will never know.
But 26 brilliant
