Judas, Chelsea legend or something else?

Those Chelsea fans calling Mourinho a Judas.................feckin really?

The manager that finally gave our club the winning mentality that it had never had before is a Judas? The manager sacked twice by the same owner is a Judas? The most successful manager in our club's history is a Judas?

Those Chelsea fans that sang that are an utter embarrassment to CFC and no wonder rival fans pour scorn on us at times.

Mourinho did himself no favours at CFC second time around and very few of us were that bothered when he was sacked again, but when he came back to Chelsea we all knew the baggage he would bring with him and accepted it, so we can have no real complaints.

Jose is doing nothing new at United now, than when he was at Chelsea, the only difference now seems that in the past we were happy to applaud him for his antics towards other clubs, whilst now we are on the receiving end, some want to jeer him. What is good for the goose, is good for the gander, so get the feck over it.

I am glad he is no longer our manager and would not want him back again, but for some Chelsea fans to turn on the guy that helped to make us one of the most feared clubs in Europe.....................that is a feckin sad indictment of some of our fan base.

Biggish, I will always respect what he bought to us and utterly condemn any fans that were abusing him last night (as I do, fans that abuse any player or person). I could only watch on TV last night and didn't hear any such chanting so can only sumise that it was a small proportion of the crowd.

However for me his mantle was already slipping in his last year with us in his 1st time around the block and when he returned I was very sceptical about the whole situation.

Although he still enjoyed the support and adoration of the majority of our support he still managed to embarrass us with his comments after that QPR game, which I thought was pretty tactless of him.

His post match comments became more and more cringeworthy and I felt he became a PR liability for us. Needless to say I felt it was a relief when he left and feel he's now someone elses problem.

I feel no need to to acknowledge him in any way other than gratitude for what he bought to us in his early years!

that is more or less how I feel Brummie. Def a minority of Chelsea fans, but I feel strongly enough about it to call them out, because they crossed the line.

Also Biggish - Anfield was a morgue when I watched a PL game there.

I also hate any outward expressions of emotion so I am a very quiet watcher of footballAnd I sit in the East Stand

I don't sing at games either, no need to apologise, just saying where the silence tends to come from.

I have been to Anfield 3 times and Goodison 4 times, neither have been a morgue far from it, but Goodison was probably a better atmosphere

I am very ambivalent about Jose's legacy at our club, I wouldn't have chanted anything nasty about him though because I just find it coarsening and bleak.

That said, fans can say what they want. They owe loyalty to no one other than the club. And the sickening and creepy worshipping of managers (and I include the Antonio chants in this) worries me a lot more. It creates cult-like atmospheres I have no wish to be part of.

Clearly emotions are raw about Jose's decisions and choices of words this season. He is coming across very bitter.

It'll simmer down eventually and Jose will no longer feel sore about his sacking and will look at his achievements (particularly in his first stint) with pride. And we will acknowledge the importance of his role with us (again, particularly in his first stint).

I am not ambilvalent, I will always respect the impact he had at Chelsea in his first stint, his achievements are simply to significant to dismiss, even when he gives us excuses to do so.

Of course fans can say what they want, but it does not mean that what they say is just pure wrong, and in this case to call him a Judas most certainly is. And this is not about owing loyalty to a manager, but owing a level of respect. For those calling him a Judas, that was incredibly disrespectful.
