Kane ligament damage confirmed

But not as severe as the first ankle injury earlier in the season.

No time frame given.

Should be back quicker than last time.

Was it Kane who had no return date last time?

What was the reasoning? Was it a ploy to confuse everyone?

Or was he worried you look toothless without him and given everyone around you a boost?

Son looks good though, certainly against weaker teams. Not seen him much in big games so couldn't say.

The international break comes at a good time, with there being no premier league matches for two weeks after this Sunday's match against Southampton.

Wot worries me is that this kind of ankle injury tends to keep on cropping up. Once weakened, those ligaments are never quite as strong as when new.

I agree Ted , I once bruised my ankle ligaments that was over 10 years ago, I still get the odd tweak of pain even now if I step on on it awkward.

you have to say our gamble on Jansen is coming back to bite us. We should have scouted a better back up striker ffs.

This is Spurs. Kane's out for the season. We don't do quick injury recovery.

Verts was quicker and looked worse than Kane's

Henry

Fair enough, let's hope it's the same situation as verts then.

I can't understand how he was allowed to walk off! Surely should of been a stretcher?

I honestly think he'll only miss a couple of games. Southampton defo out but I think he'll be training again before our next match because of the international break. That's gives him 3 weeks recovery time. Poch will take a chance on him if he's not in too much discomfort. It'll be nowhere near the 6-7 weeks of last time.

Depends he didn't seem in much discomfort like last time, barely looked like he was even limping.

Honestly don't think it's as bad as people are making out.

Probably just a tweak and be back in a month
