Bristol City 4 Huddersfield Town 0

Welcome ladies and gents.

Location - Ashton Gate Bristol

Kick off - 19:45

Officials - David Coote, Nottinghamshire, and yes, it's definitely "Coote"

Assistant referees - Adam Matthews and Nick Hopton.

Last time he officiated us we lost/gotbattered by Fulham 5-0

We are live on sky again, and it's Friday night too. If I end up commenting on this thread after Friday, I'm fine and I haven't gone under from the stress I'm dealing with at the moment, so fingers crossed, I'm around

Form : Bristol City L L D L D D W (quite apt having recently won at the DW stadium)

Town : W W D L W W. Based on league games from 14/2/17.

Town travel to Bristol City in decent form winning their last two games one nil. We don't score many, so could this be our downfall in the race for automatic promotion? I hope not, but Brighton and Newcastle have a far better goal difference than us, so finger crossed it doesn't come to that, and we nick second place.

I'm currently typing this with shredded fingers, as I have recently bought a cut throat razor (to shape my stubble, ponce I know) and fitting the blade in the razor proved a difficult task

Any road, I digress. Town should travel to Bristol with no fear, although the home side can score goals for fun, I.e against Newcastle (3) Derby (2) but their defence and goalkeeper aren't the greatest, as we found out in December. However, they have kept three clean sheets in ten games. They have recently been dealt a blow with striker Milan Djuric ruled out for three weeks with a hernia injury.

I'm concerned about this game, as I am with every game, can we keep winning games by a single goal, or are we gonna come unstuck? Or will we smash them? God knows! At this time of the season, teams are either fighting relegation/promotion or players are playing out of their skins for new contracts/moves away, so this is a tough tough game.

My prediction 2-1 defeat. We don't score enough, Wells and Kachunga/ Quaner haven't converted the chances we've created, and that is a big concern for me. Hopefully I'm wrong (as Usual) but I fear this game.

As always 50 comments get a , 100 gets a 200 gets a anything else is a bonus, plenty of will be dished out accordingly, for rude behaviour, insults etc. 👍

Cheers chaps.

I remember Hydy saying the same thing after Fulham & Preston, I think we simply didn't take the threat from Bristol too seriously, subconcisely, that won't happen again.... You don't get found out & have 71 points in March! Never doom & gloom with me, just no need for it...

I agree with Kajunga, Wells plays when he can be ar*ed which is not often enough, agree with the White Kante too, Whitehead did well when he last played, he needs to do Hoggs job. We'll get 19 points from our 9 games, which will NOT be enough this year...

Wetherby, if we were 10 points clear at the top of the league, I'd still find something be critical about, it's just my nature.

Not even going close to any negatives raised this afternoon.
We have 'em...
SO DO THE REST !

That 1st half Leeds v Brighton. Poor.
I didn't think either team had a goal in 'em.
Brighton offered nothing there after, I just can't see them holding onto '2nd'.
Derby should have been out of sight in the 2nd half ! Then couldn't hold onto a lead ?
Fulham fans don't know what to expect from one game to the next,
Newcastle, 2 wins in the last 6 !
Wednesday 4 defeats & Reading 3
Fulham also 2 wins in 6 !!
TOWN
Brighton
Leeds all 3 wins in 6...... Leeds undefeated in 6 !
Villa are the form team atm... 5 wins,
QPR 4 wins,

9 games left, We'll finish on 92 pts.
It might be enough for AutoProMo

What a Ride

Question, so you think the players are fatigued? I know they are super fit, but maybe it's taking its toll. I don't know.

"We have 'em.." (negatives)

"SO DO THE REST"... As in all the other teams.

I'd say Burton is our 'easiest' game left.
All the others are going to be hard fought close affairs.
Just what's needed in this situation.
Every single game a 'Cup Final' now.
Underestimating an opponent is NOT an option.
But ,

We have the team, spirit & support base to do it.
If the players want it badly enough, It's there for the taking.

Villa 5 wins in 6,the defeat... At Town, as previously said Brighton go to Villa Park on the last day, can we be 2 points behind perhaps.?

We will win every game left now imo and be crowned champions👍
