R we going to learn how much we undervalue

Moses tomorrow?

I am one of the most guilty for doing this whenever Moses gets into the final attacking sector of the pitch, but tomorrow we play Stoke away without him and I wonder if his absence, especially in defense, will prove significant.

What do you guys think?

I think maybe Biggish is still a bit fazed from yesterday !.
But W/W is correct, we have JT and Zooms as standbys ,and Dave is very versatile .

Not quite redundant........

I will point out that in spite of his form this season, it'd be wrong to not have more competition for his position next season.

If we were to go past deadline day with that scenario, i would be quite disappointed.

Just hope the board have finally learned the lessons of the 10/11 pre-season. They certainly had not in 15/16 pre-season!

At time Moses can be frustrating to watch, but he is cruscial to the system. However, next season Conte should look for an upgrade of bring someone who will compete for this place, same goes for the LWB position to compete with Alonso.

Alonso and moses are polar opposites, moses strong and quick, solid at the back, but cant beat the last man.

Alonso, probably the slowest player in the league and great delivery.

We will miss his directness, as much as his delivery sucks he does occupy the opposing LB and other than Hazard (maybe Kante too) our best player at dribbling past players in middle third to start an attack/get on front foot

Losing him would be a concern but more by virtue of a domino effect as opposed to the value he brings to the team. We'll be forced to play Azpi at RWB which means we'll lose our ball playing CB leaving Kante & Matic/Fabregas vulnerable to an overload situation. We'd have to give the role to Luiz and just accept we're gunna get overrun occasionally when he wonders out of position.

As long as Zouma's fit we should just about manage, he's got the pace to effectively intercept in the central CB role if Courtois plays sweeper keeper for a match.
