As Spangles says the break will give Lambert a chance to sort out his strategy for home games but the other positive I see is for some of the team to re-charge batteries before the final run in. Players like Edwards, Costa and Doherty in particular have played a lot of games and done a lot of running and will, I'm sure, benefit from a short break.

Dave Edwards is in the Welsh squad for their game with ROI on Friday, Lee Evans was named as a standby player.
Doherty was in the provisional Irish squad but didn't make the final squad.
Bod is in the Iceland squad who play in Kosovo then Ireland on Tuesday
Ikeme has two Nigeria friendlies against Senegal and Burkina Faso, Both will be played in the UK at Barnet's ground
