The whole club is a mess!

Wenger seems likes the type who won't ever leave unless forced to, when the club he built is going through a difficult period. He would like to prove to everyone he can fix us. I would say there was more chance of retirement if he was still having the success of 13 years ago now.

It has been claimed that we would do worse not better if wenger leaves. Opposition fans say that once Wenger leaves we will be a standard premier league team in mid table while the real top sides are competing at the top. I think this is completely incorrect. Yes I do think we will get worse when he leaves. When someone who's been here for so long leaves, the club will need to go through a transitional period. This will involve new training regimes, new transfer requirements, change of the squad, new tactics and new people to form relationships with. Change will consist of a transitional form and we will most likely be 7th for a number of seasons now.

However we are no standard premier league team. I do not know why opposition fans insist in believing this nonsense. We are a big club, no a massive club. Of course we will always be up there. Big managers will want this job. They may not want to be the one straight after Wenger but they will want this job. Perhaps it will be a young manager with huge potential or a more experienced one wth something to prove. Even a successful manager who wants to test themselves in the premier league. But let me be clear. We are a big club and we will be back at the top winning titles. The era of new success will be with Arsenal very soon.

The game yesterday was an extremely disappointing game. I think we need to give credit where credit is due and congratulate west Brom on a fine performance. They deserved the win and I thought they were fantastic.

Nevertheless, what I saw from the Arsenal squad yesterday was a disgrace. It is a team that is clearly not playing for to manager and a team with no self belief. Has this been a recent thing? No. The manager is no motivating them and hasn't for some time. I think everyone has lost faith in the manager and it's not just the fans. Wenger needs to accept his responsibility and realise that it is time to go.

Is Wenger completely responsible? No as well. The players need to pick themselves up. They earn thousands of pounds a week and that should be enough to motivate them in my book. The fans pay a lot of money to see them and they just present them with some awful rubbish. If I paid a lot of money to go to the theatre and I was shown a rubbish story with poor actors then I'd expect a refund. What we got yesterday was embarrassing.

The board in my book are the biggest problem at Arsenal. I say Wenger should leave because I don't think any change in the club as a whole will happen until Wenger leaves. Althought once he does, the protests should calm down. If nothing changes then the protests should be aimed towards the board. There is no one there who knows anything about football. They make awful decisions. Commercially they do well and they will tell the fans how great these deals are for the club and then think we should be happy. However they do not understand football. If they did they would realise that fans do not give a damn about some company giving us lots of money over the next 5 years, if it is not being spent on the squad or the teams results are not improving.

The board see us as customers not fans , the manager is passed his sell by date and refusing to acknowledge his time is up and the team is too mentally weak to perform at the top level. This club has problems top to bottom. Even the fans who can be a bit negative at times are a problem. I think our negative attitudes do affect our team.

Nonetheless, unless this whole club is fixed top to bottom, then these problems will remain with us for a long long time. The first thing we need to do is replace Wenger. But let me be clear, this is only the first piece in a massive jigsaw that needs to be done so that the club can be as great as they were before.

Most of what you say is true but with the right appointment we won't be languishing in 7th for long.

We have the financial prowess to buy our way back into the top 4 with the right signings.

Unfortunately Wenger has outstayed his welcome so long, the next manager won't have our 2 best players nor Champions League football to build on next season, meaning we may have to go through The Liverpool/United route of spending big on average footballers like Pogba and Firmino

West brom parked the bus from the first min. They did nothing. But we were so bad defensively committing both full backs forward at the same time that we were caught on the counter attack again and again. The picking up at corners was non existent. We should have won that game by the odd goal. But were so nervous at the back. Like no one bothers to do any drills against counter attacks. That game was lost by the management team and a lack of simple preparation.

I've been saying for ages the problem is midfield and in particular Xhaka and a lack of a real leader in there who can organise the midfield to protect the defence.

Can't really blame Xhaka when the teams been chit with him and without him. Fell apart last season to when we didnt have him. Problem is Ramsey, Coquelin, Elneny and Oxlade aren't ideal partners for him.

Watch him off the ball. He is awful. People use his stats to say how good he is, but like Denilson he doesnt make many forward passes. If he is given a bit of time on the ball he can play some good passes like the one for Sanchez goal but under pressure he is poor and most of his passes are sideways. He does not stand up to close scrutiny.

Both Kroenke and Wenger need to go tbh.

Imo half the fan protests should be about the board and kroenke. They'd get more people involved that way
