Serious question here, why do you keep bringing up Van Gaal and his home record on every facking thread?

LVG wasn't good enough Hafi. Pure and simple. If it was earlier in his career I could have made a case for keeping him but as he was only going to be around for one more year anyway it was better he left.

I do expect Jose to do better than him though and at the moment the home form is poor. Bad finishing/good keeping has cost us but then again good keeping/bad finishing has kept us in games the last few seasons as well.

Lvg? Are you deluded?

This. His man love for van gaal is so annoying.

Its true though if we had LVG for the home games and big games including away and Mourinho or Moyes for the small teams away from home we would probably have finished on like 96 points or more lol.

Klopp unbeaten against the other 6 top 7 opponents.

Klopp played 11 and won 6 drew 5 taking 23 points.
LVG last season played 12 and against these same 6 sides won 7 drew 3 and lost 2 getting 24 points from 12 games against these sides and we all know Robb thinks LVG record is poor/average in the big games.

LVG against these same 6 sides in his first season played 12 and won 6 and drew 3 and lost 3 taking 21 points.

Its amazing how Mourinho has completely changed this side. Last season our defenders barely had any defending to do but this season we let teams attack us much more then any of the seasons under LVG.

We made the fewest defensive actions last season but this season we made the 6th most and will most likely be 5th most when we play our games in hand.

Mourinho loves a low block, LVG loves a high block. Interesting to see the transformation.

I just noticed a stat we won the most passes backwards table in both seasons under LVG. Chelsea who won the league in 2015 had the 2nd most. In 2015/16 the 2nd most was Arsenal who finished 2nd lol.
