NEXT SEASON.....

If we go up, how many & who of the current squad would you keep for the premier league to stay up ?.....sentiments aside

Looking at the starting 11 from saturday, Rob Green, clearly has the ability but his age is against him, Berardi, really like this guy but at championship level, good enough for the premier league, perhaps not, Bartley, not good enough for Swansea, Coops, not really, Taylor, still not got the contract signed, Hernandez on his day class but too old, Pedraza poor decision making, Sacko good player at this level, Viera, big hope for the future, Bridcutt, we know he isn't good enough for the premier league, Wood has shown an eye for goal but maybe the championship is his level.
Ayling not good enough for premier league, Dallas has gone backwards, Roofe would worry for Kemar too much too soon. Doukara, love him but not good enough, O'Kane shocking.
On their day we could probably compete with Bournemouth, Watford and their ilk but I would fear we wouldn't pick up too many points as it stands.
Complete clear out for me.

And the most positive lets get rid of everyone who got the team promoted award goes too.......................

Wouldn't surprise me if you wanted to get rid of Monk as he got sacked by Swansea so obvioulsy he will never make it in the Premiership ever!

i think the main priority wether we go up or even stay in championship is to strengthen central midfield and a striker to cover for Wood.

Most of our squad are good enough to feature in the top division. Bartley and Jansson are better than a lot of defenders up there.

Tell you what, its good I'm not a footballer because these are the threads that let the cat out off the bag!..

If I was a player on the receiving end or getting the Vinnie treatment I'd say well stuff the lot of you's!..

And play the sort of football that stopped me being a footballer!.

Good question. Throw your minds back to when we last got promoted and how many stayed of that squad a) kept their places in the first team and then, b) how many stayed a further season to win the League?

I would expect wholesale changes for no other reason that it'll require a different set up to handle different teams and a different level of football.

Green might be one of the elder statesmen in this game but he's done enough to have another shot at the top. Bartley & Jansson are better than some pairings already plying their trade in the top flight.

Pedrazza and Sako have shown glimpses of talent. Not sure about Viera. Hernandez can be a luxury at this level but we won't be afforde such extravagances in the Premier League.

Wood has done exceptionally well, better than I could have hoped. Would Wood be as deadly in the top flight?
