Leeds in the Premier !

Have got to say that a return to the P/L of Newcastle is a good thing for football, and genuine (if fanatical) fans of that club.I also think it would be great to see Huddersfield Town in the Premier League .

But Leeds Utd ! ,:..............I still have palpitations when I remember what went on in the past.

I'd like to see Leeds and Sheff Weds come up, I'm sick of all these poxy little clubs with small grounds being in the PL. Teams like Swansea, Hull, Burnley, Bournemouth, Watford and even Palace are all Championship sized clubs not PL.

Leeds and Sheff Weds are PL sized clubs and I want to see more big stadiums not these poxy little clubs that are just better run.

Sheffield are the biggest city in England without PL representation aren't they? Either them or Leeds would be a decent replacement for Sunderland who just seem intent on staying up doing the minimum required.

Only time I have been to Elland Road, was when we were getting beaten 2 nil and came back to win 2-3. My memory tells me. Lukic had a bad day at the office.

On the OP. Even though I have no cares either way, I never dreamed, even with all their financial woes at the time, they’d be gone from the top flight for so long. I thought at worse they might become a ‘yo-yo club’.

Flash ,I think that I might have been at that game, with the guy who was to be my best man,he was also a rabid Leeds fan,so you can imagine the situation !, anyway he got me back to his place safely and we had a very pleasant, but subdued, night on the town.

Double H

I think Spencer got a couple and a Wisey pen.

I do remember thinking the young Leeds striker was worth keeping an eye on............... Don't think he went on to amount to much

Their return is long overdue.
