'Youth' players next season

Do you expect them to feature much (if at all) for Chelsea next season?

After years of very little coming through the ranks at Chelsea (Stoch, Kakuta and McEachran probably being the only memorable names ) we've finally got some real talent - and personally I'd like to see us put a little faith in them.

Personally, I think these players are the players who at the very least are good enough to make our squad:

Tammy Abraham
Ruben-Loftus Cheek
Nathaniel Chalobah
Lewis Baker
Nathan Ake
Andreas Christensen

Others have also impressed on loan and our youth teams are dominating at pretty much all levels.

Do we think these players (or any I haven't mentioned) have a possibility of making a real contribution next season?

The loan system is flawed at the top level unfortunately.

On a side note to Chelseamf's comment - Sterling looks a real talent, only 17 as well.

Would make a great wing bank.

Castillo i would say is better than Sterling.

It may also be down to the player, but I thought thats what Joe Edwards job was all about.

constant contact with the loan players, if there is an attitude problem or lack of effort then maybe the loan player needs to be shown the door.

Going forward I'd agree - but Sterling is stronger physically and better defensively.

Attacking ability will be needed more than defensive in Conte's system at wing back. Moses and Alonso would be embarrassing in a flat back four but at wingback work quite well.

If Matic's inclusion over Cesc and the rumours regarding Bakayoko are anything to go by, we are basing the defensive solidarity in the back 3 and midfield 2 and attacking with width.

i think we should sell batshuayi, not impressed with him really. Bring back Traore he has an eye for a goal very much in the Kalou mode. Also would love to see Jeremie Boga given a fair crack preseason he has look solid when played. Christensen will almost certainly come back and is already way ahead og Stones in development so we dodged a bullet there.

Tammy needs another loan, not ready for the PL.

Sorry WW but I think he's ready now, I have to concur with everything Cmf said about him. He's pretty much the reason that Bristol City look like surviving relegation, take away his goals and they'd be right in trouble now.

Also worth noting that he shone in a young Chelsea team that took apart a Man U team away, in the FAYC two years ago. That team contained Fosu Mensa and one Marcus Rashford, who never had a look in.

Can you imagine anyone trying to argue that Rashford is not ready now?
