Josh Gordon

Is set to sign in the next 48 hours or so. He's a 22 year old striker from Stafford Rangers and displays the same qualities as Vardy apparently.

So does this mean our recruitment policy hasn't changed and we're still searching for the same sort of players we did when Walsh was heading our recruitment team?

BS does this alleviate some of your fears about our future transfer policy and Macia's ability to lead us forward?

Let's hope he's not a "Flash" in the pan!

Certainly does CoE, encouraging signs if we sign him that the recruitment policy put in place by Walsh is still alive and kicking

I doubt Macia would know much about him, maybe trusting the Leicester scouts on this one but who knows......maybe he's watched him personally

Welcome to him, although it's worth noting that he represents a very inexpensive gamble. So I hope this isn't held against the club too much if it doesn't pay out. (Anyone remember Aman Verma? Or know whether I've got his name right?)

Ha ha I thought about you as soon as I saw the headline 😂

Oh I doubt he does too but to me it suggests that he's not the only cog in the wheel, which seems pretty obvious when I think about it. I'm sure as a team and as individuals, they have areas where they scout both home and abroad. Macia obviously responsible for scouting networks abroad but other members of the team scouting the lower leagues. That would make sense wouldn't it?

Please be careful not to give CR's man to much credit How long has Walshy have to have been gone before some else can take any of the credit ?

The man can't be any good he's foreign and worked for our former manager at Valencia.

It certainly looks like we are still using these shores for scouting too which is a massive plus for Macia and the team.
Lots of clubs pluck players like this from non league and the majority don't pan out, so lets hope this kid is different.

And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can we have some discussions without them all taking a downward spiral into personal NP, CR, CS nonsense. its gone is gone, nobody knows what happened for certain so lets just move forward.

We have changed how other teams think with the signings of Vardy Marhez and Kante which is going to make it a lot tougher to get the players we need.
I for one think we need a few now signings not those for the future and they need to be proven in the Premiership or we are going to get the equivalent of Turbo lag in getting them up to speed next season

Never known any decent strikers to come out of Stafford Rangers to play for Leicester!!!

This is a no brainier solid signing. Low risk and potentially high reward. I like these types of signings. Better than £15+ million on potential from Europe.
