Makes a wonderful change .....

To not be seeing, hearing and reading headlines about Cellino or his family causing chaos for the club.

To still have something to play for in a season after mid-March .....

To have a competitive, hard-working and decent side to watch each week .....

To not be in the headlines for all the wrong reasons ..... to read newspaper articles that are positive ............

To arrive at the match excited and with expectation ............

Hallelujah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure it does have to be a 2-way street VOF.

Most people accept that given it was his third attempt, that he got very, very lucky in landing Monk.

And it seems to me that the only other positive thing he's done is not do anything negative.

Does an owner deserve credit for not sacking the manager after only six matches? Does they deserve credit for not behaving like an idiot in public, thereby dragging the club's name down? I don't think so.

And did he really back Monk in the transfer window? I thought we sold in order to pay for some loans... Where were the permanent transfers that showed us how much Cellino was behind Monk?

Having said that and also having been permanently against his ownership, I would finish with one last thing...

It was Napolean who said "I would rather have a general who is lucky than one who is good."

Maybe the same can be said for owners.

Utopia....who's gone ? & how do you know ?

Harj, rumours abound that the big C has gone. I don't think it's idle chatter either, but seeing is believing( or not.) I suppose

If this season had been repeating the failures of the previous year's Mr Cellino would be getting the usual abuse, make no mistake. Whether Monk was 8th choice or not he was recruited and he's done well. Equally AR was given the opportunity to take a share....

Long way to go but we're making progress. For that we should be grateful.

I hope those rumours are true utopia....

Fair points Radebe ..... lets just hope that Utopia is correct and that particular chapter in the clubs history is confined to room 101.

Regardless of his merits or negatives, it's just good to have positivity in and around the club for a change. Ultimately that's the biggest bonus this season .......

I don't think MC can have any credit for doing nothing. It's well documented the AR was in the loop from early last year and MC went quiet after that.

He's only raised his head to contest court cases and his ban.

If he's gone then good riddance to the lot of them.

Absolutely, VOF - and what a pleasant change it makes!
