It looks like madness if you're 16th & flirting with relegation, if we were in the top 2 it would look like sound investment.

The majority of the money has been spent on 2 players, so it skews the figures and the argument slightly. Costa & Cav are decent players, the other 6m was mostly wasted on average Joes who cant get a game.

Lonergan keep but will he want to stay when he becomes third choice if Burgoyne keeps progressing

Yes Ive read a few of his articles now, tells it like it is and doesn't hide behind a pseudonym like Dave Kitson (anecdotally). Particularly liked his description of Hunt telling Morgan to fook off when he came in to lecture the payers after one defeat.
