Don't know if anyone has seen that, but looks like quotes direct from the player himself.
Really would not mind if this guy left. Only positive thing he said about chelsea was that the fans love him more than atletico fans, which is kind of just complimenting himself.

Ah RM, good striker for sure, just an average footballer, been poor since christmas for me too. I would take several other strikers and reckon we'd still have won the league this year. All ifs and buts I know.

Like I said I like visiting but wouldn't want to live there. I live on the Wirral now, and I've got everything I need. If I want to go shopping or drinking I can pop over to Liverpool,we've got an abundance of open space and the Dee Estuary is a mere 5 minute walk away. I've got everything I need, London is over populated for my liking.

I've never seen him as the end game in terms of our main man up top, next Drogba figurehead kind of thing, and this is before all the drama associated with him. The technical flaws in his game I saw clear as day even while everyone we beating off to his goals early on (or as I put it, his not being Torres lol).
He's been a fantastic transition between Torres and a really good out and out striker and/or false 9 type player, probably the latter with this formation going forward. Absolutely wouldn't mind if he stays, but I wouldn't want to think the club ain't pursuing better than him cos there certainly is.

Nick we've not had much success replacing Drogba and he's the best by far. I'd be sorry to see him go but if he insisted then so be it. We can't take for granted that the next guy in will be scoring like him. I remember in his first season the tap in v Leicester at home. It was the strike of a natural goal scorer something we lacked and tried desperately to find after Drogba left.

The club is offering him a contract extension and are confident he will sign it. That's what the papers were telling us couple of weeks ago.
Costa is just telling us what we already knew. He is not saying that he wants to leave. He was unstoppable in the first half of the season. So I would be happy if the club can hold on to him, but obviously if he wants to go then sell him to the highest bidder and move on. He has a contracts that runs out in June 2019.

So he wanted to leave but when it didn't happen he accepted it, got on with it and has likely fired us to the title, that's good enough for me.
Fans get to het up on the "i only want player's if they 100% want to be here and nowhere else" romantic notion, Azpilicueta didn't want to join us and only did so because Marseille were in financial crap, just saying.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arguably our greatest ever Centre Forward admits he did not want to join Chelsea at first, took more than 2 years to fall in love with the club and its fans.
Nowadays i have no doubts that player is a Chelsea Legend and Chelsea fan.
But we have to remember............Costa isn't a Chelsea fan, he has no history with the club pre 2014, i have no qualms with him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly, the fact he actually stayed professional and performed despite ideally wanting to go back to Spain if anything should gain him respect, not lose it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
he hasn't performed though he's been woeful, and recently been diving all over the shop too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A few games doesn't change 5 months of firing us to the top. An even in a supposed bad spell he's scored a winner and a clincher of late.

Yeah like I said Bov, I actually like him, use to really like him, just think he has been bigged up to a level which is not quite right. And talking of clinical finishing, u did see that shoulder attempt against utd right?
Na but he is a great finisher. Just think that he would be replaceable.

If he isn't happy at the club we should sell him I only want people who want to play and win for Chelsea at the club. Look how dangerous it is to have players who don't want to be there look at Arsenal. Cavani has a good few years left in him and if we get him for around 50 million would be a good replacement. Shame athletico already got Lacazette.
