Mahrez to Barca

Let's talk football.

Big rumours in the Spanish press that Mahrez is in talks with Barca.

Are they really interested? Will he go if they are (obviously we're a bigger draw) and how much should we hold out for?

I'd say £40m. Take it or leave it. Let's hardball that small club.

I've heard Gray might be going as well with a £12 million buy out clause a few other Premier League Clubs are interested?

TB it's now the winter of our discontent or in other worlds rumour Central starts. He needs a bit more end product and i think is tricky to manage do its no big deal either way imo

The goal was a cross 😂 and your point is? It's a Goal the quality of the cross beat everyone so whats so funny? It's sad you look to put him down.
As for having one good season did he not have good seasons under NP getting promoted? staying up etc.
That is progression. What about the most tackles in the CL match have you got a joke about that?

I'm not looking to put him down I'm just being realistic whereas you're over bigging him up.

Half a season in the Championship, one poor season in the PL, followed by exceptional backed
up by poor to getting better. He's not performed consistently at the top level.

I also don't care about how many tackles he made in a game because it has no bearing on whether he's world class or not. He's not good enough to get into a top European club and he wouldn't get in a world XI or even world XXV because he's not world class.

Nun its a interesting one i would say Kante is world class but as he is in second season does that mean he's not. I believe Marhez despite the protestations most big European clubs would take and will do this summer will he be long term diefinitly. Is he now well thats down to opinions. But Premier League winner PFA player of the Year African player of the year etc etc mean he's not far off at the most

Not bothered by Gray, I don't rate him that highly and I'm not sure you ever learn to find a final ball because it's usually something you either have or you don't. He's tricky and fast but very rarely does anythung come from his play, he just always flatters to deceive. He's s good sub but that's it and there are better than him around.

That said whoever agreed £12m needs their head examining.

Kante is world class because he does it week in week out and he's doing it at a big club. He could definitely walk into any team. Mahrez won't.

CoE lets see this summer if you are eating your words eh

I think gray has huge potential, he's still very young and I do think he's a future England player. Spurs are very keen on him for good reason and if the release clause is just over £10m as reported then it further demonstrates what a clueless fackwit Jon Rudkin is.

We need a very big summer recruitment wise because Mahrez, Schmeichel and possibly Drinkwater will leave. Huth and Morgan are coming to the end as well. Let's hope macia can do better than Molle facking Wague this time....

If he leaves I'd be waiting to see how he does first and whether he actually gets off the bench.

I see Gray a bit like Lloyd Dyer, capable of the brilliant but mostly frustrating and my worry is he doesn't seem to have a football brain and you can't teach that. If he does manage to learn to look up and improve his decision making then he will turn out to be a great player and to lose him for £12m is a facking joke!

I want to see Benny in the team next season and by all account Wague played really well so why not him and Benny next season? I'd be well up for giving that a go, Wague looks like a beast and reports I've read about Mali he's a rock for them. Or even Amartey, no reason why we couldn't have a good partnership between those three.

Macia did recommend plenty of targets, Twatkin just failed to get them so lets hope we put some proper bids in that actually get accepted.
