2 biggest matches of our season so far

Tomorrow morning 01:00 and Tuesday...NZ v Fiji qualifiers, here's hoping Chris Woods comes back in one piece and in full form!

He'll be fine. Absolute machine and in better fitness than last season, guy looks like he could be playing for the All Blacks rather than the football team.

Same could have been said for Coleman having the season of his life....

Wood scored first. Guy is so predictable.

My only fear is that playing in New Zealand on Tuesday, Wood will be jet-lagged when we play Reading on Saturday and far from his best. He has declared himself fit previously after returning from international duty and simply not been at the races! I can't fault his commitment but it is a worry.

Assuming he's flying east to west the jet lag won't be too bad. The other way is a nightmare.

I'm sure he won't be flying cattle class either.

It was a penalty as well, meaning his last 2 have been from the spot. He's been found out clearly.

NZ won the first leg comfortably. This was no more than a run out for Wood and the return leg in NZ will be the same. Jet lag is the bigger issue, but there are strategies for reducing its impact. Recent interviews with Wood show him to be a smart young man (future captain, if we can hold onto him) who looks after himself properly. I can't see him missing out on either of our next two games.
