Best players in the world 2017?

Costacurta said the other day he thought Neymar has surpassed (the present day) Messi and Ronaldo.

Got me thinking. They are obviously two of the best players in the past 25 years but have they gone from top dogs who were miles ahead to just two very good players just ahead of the rest.

If you could sign say, Ronaldo or Neymar now who would you see as the better and more effective player over the next two seasons?

Or Ronaldo or Suarez? Etc

Are Messi and a Ronaldo miles ahead? IMO not anymore.

Here's how I'd rate the top 7 in the world.

1) Messi
2) Neymar
3) Ronaldo=Suarez
4) Griezmann
5) Bale
6) Sanchez

Why does Bale makes everybody's top 10 list?

I've been going for a couple of years now. My grandfather in law is a season ticket holder, so I go with him, his mates and my two brothers in law from time to time - mainly for the day out, since I sacked off my United season ticket. I mainly go for the booze up, as it's a cheap day out, but the football isn't half bad at the moment either. Just need to tie down some of the loanees permanently and they'll have the foundation of a good squad for years to come.

With Kachunga being made permanent there's only big Colin, Mooy and the 2 Chelsea boys Palmer and Brown on loan now. I'd love to keep Mooy and Brown but I think it's more likely the other 2 will be the ones made permanent. Brilliant news to hear that season tickets in the south stand will be £199 next season whether it's championship or premier and a kids one for £39!

£39 for a premier league season ticket! Unheard of and a great advert for Huddersfield. Really should be every football fans second team with the way they've played this season on one of the championships smallest budgets and what the club is doing with it's pricing. Incredible academy set up nowadays too.

I actually think Mooy will be made permanent if Town get promoted. Why wouldn't he want it to happen, really? Premier League football guaranteed, and at 26 he won't be playing for City (ever). He could become an established PL player with Town. Reckon Palmer might be the hardest to keep hold of - think he's got a lot of talent.

By the way, do you also find yourself going from adoring to incensed with van La Parra about 10 times a game? Guy reminds me of Nani, insofar as technically he's pretty much always the best player on the pitch. His decision making (or lack of) though...

Think Town will need a new striker if they get promoted. Wells isn't prolific enough.

The ticket prices are ridiculously good value. Even Newcastle only cost me £30, and we were right on the half way line with pretty much a TV camera view.

Haha oh RVLP...

I have gone from wanting to shake his hand to tearing his arm off more times in games this season than is ever OK. Wouldn't sell him though, he's a winger and they're frustrating. I'd ban the dopey so from shooting though! My nan might as well take the shot if he's doing it!

With Mooy I suppose it depends on what Pep promises him in terms of playing time. The lad is talented, but very, very slow. Think he'd need to be in a 3 man midfield to keep playing to his best in the premier league.

New striker is a must, but in truth I think a lot of the players we've relied on this season won't cut the premier. Schindler, Hogg, Wells, RVLP, Quarner since January. I've got faith in Wagner if we do make it for him to keep Town up, but a lot of changes in playing personnel will probably be needed.

It is without doubt however, the best town side I've ever seen. Amazingly good season and loved every minute.
