I think Alonso is underrated and will improve hopefully, but maybe we should go for some British players in defence.
Rose or Shaw maybe? Do either of them have that winning DNA to become a Chelsea champion?
Or recall a old Chelsea winner: Ryan B?

Mr. C, I've been ignoring Chronic's attention-seeking comments and articles for years mate. Even when he was finally banned from our board for constant wumming, I didn't even notice as I had always been moving onto the next comment from someone else anyway.

Yeah his 'wumming' is pretty lowbrow. He's more at home with Maf

Yeah the Maf v Chronic (and pals) pages of abuseofests are hours of your life that you will never get back.

Agree Chronic and Weare are pretty much vulgar in their approach, subttle is not their thing.

Yeah but the trouble is that you get one or two loudmouths spouting bollox and before you know it, even the most sensible posters on their board like Greavsie buy into it and then spout the same propaganda, which was surprising to me.
----------------------------------
I only respond when people start running my club down, like Conte'nt saying we are just a physical side which is rubbish, we play good football as witnessed when Chelsea came to the Lane.
I don't mind constructive criticism and do not like some of the language used by some Spurs and rival fans.
This is supposed to be a forum for discussing football etc, if you can't do that without getting abusive then it is a sad day indeed.
I get on with most of the Chelsea board, especially people like BrummieBlue.
Even now Mr Chelsea cannot resist being abusive, saying he treats all Spurs fans with disdain, just like a piece of dirt on his shoe. No need for that at all is there?

Fair enough Greavsie, I'm pleased to see that you acknowledge that some of your own fans are not angels either, and I speak as someone who never refers to Spurs as anything other than Spurs, not potatoes or the Y word or anything like that. For me that's completely uncalled for, so we are in agreement about that.
It's interesting that you get on particularly well with Brum, as he can be even more caustic than I normally am believe it or not, when he sees our Club being attacked, but happily debates with opposition fans like yourself that want to debate properly.

Good to hear Chelsea.........
How do you see the semi final panning out?
For me it depends on having Harry back fully fit, think he can make a difference. It's the two best defences in the league squaring up and I can see it going to extra time myself.

I agree that Kane being back (if he makes it) is gna give you guys a big lift, but for me it is gna be very tight and in a one-off game where anything could happen it could go either way, although I am looking forward to the game (got my tickets today, which sadly means I'll miss the all-important non-plastic match thread yet again ) and may the best team win.
