so with Brexit, will that mean that European footballers in UK, be stuffed or numbers limited on a per club basis? and if so, which clubs in the PL will be affected the most? Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal?
If a limit to the Euro players is imposed, does that mean someone like Stoke/WBA winning the PL?
will the mediocre UK players be suddenly worth billions?
should Man U be paying gazillions for Griezmann, rather should they be buying Carroll from the Hammers?
food for thought!
Brexit.....Europe footballers bug-gered?

There is no way we would only be allowed a punitive amount of foreign players.
It would have nothing to do with the Government - it would be a PL decision, and they have a product to sell, and the best foreign players enhnace that product.
What there may be a limit on is quality, not quantity. That is the government decision
If it stops English clubs hoarding foreign youngsters and farming them out, that can only be a good thing

Football Manager factored it in with varying degrees of severity. I got lucky and got the 'weak' Brexit so I didn't have to run around trying to secure work permits

Irish players will still be allowed into the league on a points-based system.
I'm hearing it's three points for Irwin and one point for O'Draw.

Least it'll improve our England team, hopefully back to the days when we had decent players instead of the rubbish we've got now.

Could say the same about pre Brexit UK

It's never going to affect players in situ but there could be calls for limiting foreign players again but as the clu s run the league and not t'other way round it won't happen.
