We were, but I think it's more down to us than how Liverpool play. We make it easy for Liverpool. We've battered City, and Liverpool have been turned over a few times against relegation threatened teams, yet when it comes to the derby Liverpool raise their game and Everton just fold.

We didn't raise our game because we didn't have to, we are a better side than both those plodders that played to night. We've played better vs the likes of West Brom & Watford this season!

For a far superior team with such an easy schedule your five point gap sure looks like a good rerun for you

Liverpool dont have to raise their game to beat Everton.
We were nowhere near our best on Saturday, and put Everton away with ease.

The fact that Liverpool won with ease proves my point, we have a mental problem when it comes to playing Liverpool. We have 4 points against City who are a better team than Liverpool and zilch against Liverpool. Southampton have done really well against Liverpool but sit well below Everton.

Everton, in the last few years, always fold against Liverpool. They also always seem to raise their game against us. Liverpool could play the reserves and they'd beat Everton. Don't know why that is, but it is what it is.
