How in the world have we completely blown it? We're third with a target of top four. We're on course. Last night was a blow but not the end of the world. Unfortunately for us Bournemouth had two shots on target and both were gifted to them. One by Wijnaldum and one a mixture of pure luck and Klavan watching the lan not the ball.

I don't agree with Klopp' s decision to go five at the back but I certainly don't blame him after previous games like this, especially the reverse fixture and the injuries we have.

The issues we've had with weaker teams are easier to fix than not getting the points against the bigger sides. So top four this season with the chance to fix this issue next season is definite progress and one I think we will address.

If it's an easy fix, why are we now in April and haven't put a decent performance together against a crap team since the turn of the year?

It's a really worrying thing for me, I get far more worried before games against the likes of Bournemouth than the likes of Chelsea, City, Arsenal.

Trouble is we are playing dross teams until the end of the season, whereas Arsenal look to be playing a bit better and we will just not be as good as Spurs.

That's why I see us finishing 5th.

Spurs City and Chelsea are nailed on for me.

So in a week when we have widened the gap on City and Utd and maintained our lead over Arsenal and moved up a place in the league LFC have blown it.

This is what some people are saying?

Robbing, it's a case of playing in style, with panache, scaring the pellets out of the opposition every time the Reds have the ball. Last night was the 'headless chicken' special that comes about every so often, without reason from our team.

Both you and Irishred are right, we are still top four, but the sheer frustration they generate is at times unbearable.

Say anything different though and you're a happy clapper.

Funnily enough, under normal circumstances, we finish with a great run of fixtures until the end of the season so should feel confident.
However, given how we seem to struggle against the lesser sides, I can see us dropping a fair few points over the next few weeks. Hope I'm wrong though.

We've already beaten the next three teams this season. A lot depends on Hendo and Lallana being back but we have forwards showing form.
