Yes..we got our stoke away win.

Any win i wanted, didnt care how we played or when we scored,it was just massive that we won this game, puts pressure on Arsenal and Utd plus we have the points on the board.

Fingers crossed Firmino and Coutinho can now get a full weeks rest while we may see Henderson and/or Lallana back for W Brom to go with Studges return today.

Yes Mane is out but now Stoke have been beaten and out of the way this coming week could be the exact R&R we need right now! We just had to get through the game and we did, brilliant.

BTW...what a goal by Firmino, what a goal

Not exactly Jim. If they win one of them by more than 1 goal they go above us with 3 wins. But 4 of their remaining 9 games are very tricky.

I would have feared for your spot with a loss a stoke
Well done and on to the next game with more injured players back.

Who have Arsenal got Biglaa? If it includes either Spurs or Chelsea I will be a happy chappie. I can't believe the criticism JK is getting from the press for playing both young Ben and Trent. They were all he had. Ejaria seems to have disappeared, Grujic still isn't up to speed post-injury. (What's happened to Joe Gomez, he seems to have disappeared too?)

Ejaria is injured.

Gomez has been playing for U23's. He's done alright but hasn't been spectacular so not surprising he hasn't got a chance.

Woodburn and TAA have both been exceptional at that level which is why they are ahead.

Gomez probably needs a pre-season. He hasn't had one for nearly 2 years now.

A proper Klopp pre-season and maybe next season he will be ready to get a first team chance from the get go.

Liverpool have answered a lot of questions with that result. Stoke is always a difficult place to go to anyway and one where it certainly doesn't suit Liverpool either.

Klopp addressed the issues in the first half and the quality of Coutinho and Firmino showed in the 2nd half with 2 very good strikes really. But to come from behind, away from home, at a difficult place to go to and show that resilience has answered a lot of critics. Even with Mignolet, 2 top class stops to ensure Liverpool won the game, because if they went 2-0 down when he made his first save would have been game over, but he made 2 brilliant saves as well. Not the best defensive performance, but enough to get them through the game.

I'm sure the Liverpool players, fans and Klopp himself would be delighted if they were to get 6 points away at Stoke and West Brom. 6 points they wouldn't usually get based off most of their last 5/6 seasons really. But Liverpool will be more than happy with this win.

GB, give it a rest mate you are not finishing 2nd. We have 1 game in hand and win that we go 8 points clear of you. You are in a battle for 3rd/4th with Arsenal, United and City.

How many points were you ahead of Arsenal last season?

Spurs, utd and arsenal have wicked games coming up....its why I say 2nd isnt out of the question.

Jim, not that i was going to include Palace, but they still have Utd, Spurs, Leicester, Everton and Stoke (away) yet.
