Nothing to do with age or weight any more. Depends on what you eat and how your body reacts and its the feckin most painful thing you can imagine.

It's bu99er all to do with diet, lifestyle, level of fitness.

If you do get it, chances are it's hereditary down the males side of your family.

My granddad had it, also my father and now me.

Believe me, they didn't have unhealthy lifestyles and both were extremely fit.

It is by far the worst pain I have EVER experienced - the first time I got it I thought I'd broken my foot.

Port consumption does it apparently

Who says he's got gout? Highly doubt he's got it, they do enough tests to figure out any abnormalities

Having watched united play this season I would say that's one of the most painful things you could imagine.

Listening to you lot of doubters and ignoramuses on this board concerning the alleged reasons for contracting Gout,it`s a wonder that every beer swilling,pie and burger eating contributor to this Forum, wearing an xxxxl team shirt, has not suffered from this ailment.
Believe me, you wouldn`t want to.
