🍄Wolves v Brighton🍄{live}

Due to lack of support, I have asked the Molineux hierarchy to drop potential plans for my statue to be erected, you'll be sad to hear.

However, the razzamatazz must go on in the form of another blinding thread........

Wolves goalkeeper Carl Ikeme is still struggling with a hamstring injury so Andy Lonergan is set to keep his place against Championship leaders Brighton.

Helder Costa (ankle) has missed Wolves' past two games but may feature.

Long-term absentees Connor Goldson and Shane Duffy are the only Brighton players unavailable for the Seagulls' trip to Molineux.

Full-backs Gaetan Bong and Liam Rosenior will hope to feature after being rested for the win at QPR.

Match facts

After scoring in 14 consecutive league games against Brighton previously, Wolves have since scored just three goals across their last six against them.
Brighton have not won at Molineux in league competition since January 1991, having drawn five and lost two of their seven trips there since.
Wolves are looking to win four home games in a row in the same season since winning their opening four games back in the 2014-15 campaign.
Despite this, Wolves still have the third worst record at home this season in the Championship (W7 D3 L9). Brighton are the second best away from home (W10 D5 L5).
Brighton have won five of their last six Championship games, losing the other to Leeds.
The Seagulls are just three points shy of their points total from the entirety of last season (89).

As for O'Hara, to think someone here has spent the last few years defending him, he is an absolute waster and will end up with nothing ten years from now.

I bet the guy that wrote this spends most of his life moaning about one thing or another. We've all met them. The laughable thing is that these people vent their spleen on forums day after day and probably call themselves supporters

I think there is a lot of truth in what the guy said. We have not moved forward at all this season. Take Costa out of the picture and the team is worse than last season.

Wouldn't like to say where the blame lies as there are many culprits including Lambert. Not everyone swallows his self-promotion and propaganda without question.

On the bright side at least on opening day next season the line up will tell us whether to waste our Saturdays or not.

To be fair DJ, I have read this guy's blogs for some time now and he is positive when there are positives to shout about. I think he is a genuine supporter and like the rest of us is suffering from acute disappointment at the way this season has gone.

Genuine supporters are not critical apparently.

Always found it strange that a few people here are so arrogantly dismissive of a nice chunk of the fan base as they post on another forum.

Blogging is for nerds, match threads are the way forward

Everyone is disappointed at the season gem, but the article is full of drivel.

He singles out Edwards who has scored ten goals, made more successful tackles than any midfield player in the division, been voted player of the month by Wolves supporters on a couple of occasions and twice been named in the Championship team of the month.

How does that compare to the performances of Saiss, Evans, Saville, Cavaleiro and Price who have barely managed a dozen decent performances between them all season.

And then the pathetic comment that financial fair play only applies to us.

Happy to buy in to constructive criticism if it contains some common sense but this reads to me like someone just having a moan

A few sunday papers saying Wolves are targeting the signing of Chris Martin from Derby in the summer

The same Edwards who touched the ball literally half as many times as Saiss Friday, passed the ball half as many times Friday and made fewer interceptions and tackles than Saiss on Friday but yet we know which one will be dropped Monday.

The same Edwards that despite playing in the middle of the pitch gets on the ball less than eight or nine of our players each and every week.

Gets on the end of six or seven good crosses a season though so naturally his midfield work will be forgotten.

Whilst he starts each week we are going absolutely nowhere and as the blogger highlights, both promotions came with him starting far fewer games.

Decent player and a sign of what to expect next season, it won't be pretty but it may be effective in this division.
